2020 has been a transformative year in talent acquisition. Multiple dynamics – the social justice movement, the Covid-19 pandemic, a global recession, the widespread adoption of remote operations, the increased installation of automation in the workplace and more – mean that talent acquisition in 2021 and beyond will be unlike talent acquisition in the past. It will require new insights, new practices and new ideas. This conference will begin the dialogue necessary to meet the challenge.
TAtech: The Association for Talent Acquisition Solutions is the trade organization for the global talent technology industry. Its Members include job boards, social media sites, ATS companies, programmatic ad buying platforms, AI and machine learning companies and recruitment marketing agencies.
DirectEmployers Association is a nonprofit Member-owned and -managed association formed in 2001 by 14 leading Fortune 500 companies searching for a way to reduce recruiting costs, while regaining ownership of their recruitment brand. We are committed to offering solutions for complex OFCCP compliance and recruitment marketing challenges.
The 2-day event will cover such topics as:

- What steps should recruiters take to ensure they maximize their ROI in technology?
- How should recruitment marketing change to respond to today’s social and economic dynamics?

To create a uniquely engaging and useful attendee experience, the conference will have two important differentiators:
Interactive Fireside Chats
The conference will be designed to leverage the superior audience interactivity of digital platforms by providing significant direct communication between members of the audience and each session’s presenters. Unlike at an in-person event, the audience won’t be separated from the presenters and have only fleeting contact with them, but instead will actually deliver part of the content by questioning and/or discussing a session’s topic with its presenters.
Each one-hour session will have at least forty minutes of audience participation. Attendees can reserve a Question/Comment slot for a specific session prior to the event or submit one via the live attendee chat during the session. Then, when they are recognized by the presenters, they will be able to connect with them using both video and audio for their part in the conversation.
A Diverse & Influential Faculty
Conference speakers will include recognized talent technology and recruitment experts as well as individuals selected for the fall class of TAtech’s 100 Most Influential Talent Acquisition Thought Leaders. This list will include those individuals in both corporate and industry organizations who develop and share innovative ideas, original solutions and important advancements in talent acquisition.
Each session’s discussion will be led by two individuals, one from an employer and one from a solution provider, ensuring multiple perspectives on key topics in talent acquisition in 2021 and beyond. In addition, attendees are also a part of the program! That’s right, this is not a conference where all you can do is sit back and listen. The sessions will begin with a conversation starter of 20-30 minutes, and then the floor will be open to all attendees to interact with the speakers by asking questions and adding their views for the rest of the session. It’s an opportunity to be seen and heard on topics that are important to recruiting success, both today and into the future.
